How to buy at Auction

NAVIGATING AN AUCTION

Exploring the Entire Auction?
Sort through the auction inventory by the highest bid price, lowest bid price, lot title from A to Z, and lot title from Z to A. If you’re on the hunt for a bargain, consider sorting the auction by ‘Bid Price (Lowest)’ to explore more affordable options and possibly uncover an overlooked gem!

Exploring a Specific Area?
If you have a particular interest in a specific varietal, region, type, or vintage, use our handy filter bar to refine your search. Our filter options are comprehensive, enabling you to select all the criteria that match your interest and discover what the auction has to offer.

Know Exactly What You Are Looking For?
Input the details of the wine into the search bar located at the top right of the page to pull up all relevant lots in the current auction. Interested in historical data? Simply check the ‘Previous Auctions’ box next to the search bar to retrieve sales history for similar bottles previously auctioned by Tankersley Wine Brokers.

USING THE WATCH LIST FEATURE

Tracking Multiple Bottles?
If you find several bottles of interest but aren’t ready to bid, add them to your Watch List to keep an eye on them. Click ‘Add to Watch List’ link found on any Auction item page. You can view and manage your full Watch List via your personal dashboard, monitor the bottles throughout the auction, and place your bid when you feel prepared.
